1. Seller and contact details
These terms apply to consumer purchases from Lavabosinks, 309 Alum Rock Road, Birmingham, B8 3BJ, United Kingdom. Email: info@lavabosinks.store. Telephone / WhatsApp: +44 7818 096595. Lavabosinks operates as a sole trader and is not registered for UK VAT.
2. Product specifications and quotations
Please confirm the manufacturer, model, dimensions, finish, installation requirements and included accessories before ordering. Product photographs may show optional accessories. We will identify the products and inclusions in the quotation or order confirmation. Pricing and availability for older or discontinued items require individual confirmation.
The quotation or checkout must state the total product price, currency, delivery cost and applicable charges, or explain how any charges that cannot reasonably be calculated in advance will be determined.
3. Payment and order confirmation
Payment is by bank transfer. A 50% deposit is required on order, with the remaining 50% payable before dispatch from Italy. We will provide written confirmation of the agreed specification, price, payment schedule and estimated delivery period. These terms and the agreed quotation or order confirmation form the basis of your purchase.
4. Manufacture and delivery
Products are generally manufactured to order in Italy, packaged and delivered by courier. The normal order-to-delivery estimate is approximately 4-6 weeks. We will confirm the expected delivery period for your order before you commit. Where a longer period is needed, this must be agreed with you.
If a delay arises, we will inform you and discuss the revised delivery arrangements.
For consumer deliveries arranged by us, responsibility for loss or damage normally remains with us until you, or a person you nominate, take physical possession. Different rules may apply if you independently commission a carrier that we have not offered.
5. International deliveries
Depending on the destination, orders may be subject to import VAT, customs duty or courier clearance fees on arrival. Unless expressly stated in your quotation or checkout, these destination charges are not included in the product and delivery price and, where applicable, are payable by the recipient. The destination authorities and courier determine whether charges apply and their amount. We will draw this information to your attention before you order.
6. Statutory cancellation rights for standard goods
Where statutory distance-selling cancellation rights apply, you may cancel without giving a reason from placing your order until 14 days after receiving the goods. For goods delivered in separate consignments under one order, the applicable cancellation period runs from receipt of the last relevant item. Any cancellations after the start of produciton will attract a 25-35% re-stocking fee
To cancel, email us with a clear statement of your decision and sufficient information to identify your order. You may use the cancellation form below, but it is not compulsory. Return the goods within 28 days after notifying us. Contact us for the correct return address before dispatching a return; this does not make your statutory cancellation subject to our permission.
Where we have informed you before the contract that you must pay return costs, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning non-faulty goods. For bulky goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we must provide the required return-cost information before you order. If we have not provided the required information, we will bear the return cost where the law requires.
For a valid statutory cancellation, we will refund the payments due, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional charges for an enhanced delivery option need not be refunded. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence of return, whichever is earlier, and will reimburse within the applicable statutory period. Unless you expressly agree otherwise, reimbursement will use the original payment method.
Any cancellations after the start of produciton will attract a 25-35% re-stocking fee
If you request cancellation after production has started and no statutory right to cancel applies, we will check whether the manufacturer can stop production or accept the goods back. Any agreement to cancel will be confirmed in writing. A charge of 25–35% of the affected product price will apply where disclosed and agreed, legally permitted and justified by reasonable net losses. We will not recover the same loss through both a deposit deduction and an additional charge.
This provision does not restrict your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or not delivered as required.
8. Damaged, faulty or incorrect goods
Please inspect the goods when reasonably possible and contact us promptly with your order reference, photographs and a description of the problem. Keep packaging where practical to assist investigation. Prompt reporting and photographs help us resolve the matter but do not replace or shorten your statutory rights.
We will provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law, which may include rejection and refund, repair, replacement or a price reduction. Where the law requires, we will bear reasonable return or collection costs. You are not required to resolve a courier claim yourself as a condition of exercising rights against us.
9. Manufacturer warranties
Manufacturer warranty terms and duration vary by product. Ask us for the applicable details before ordering. A manufacturer warranty is additional to, and does not replace or limit, your statutory rights against Lavabosinks.
10. Complaints and applicable rights
Send complaints to info@lavabosinks.store, including your order reference and the resolution sought. These terms do not exclude liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory protections applicable in your country of residence remain unaffected.
